Delays in container transport to Finland

Schedule changes caused by the coronavirus outbreak result in delays in ocean freight and rail transport between Asia and Finland.

In addition, stormy weather conditions that have prevailed during the past couple of weeks are causing further delays in the Northern European ports of Rotterdam, Hamburg and Bremerhaven. Container unloading and loading have been slow, which also affects feeder departures to Finland.

Many shipments with estimated arrival in Finland in February will reach not the Finnish ports before the beginning of March.
