EU decides not to extend anti-dumping measures on solar panels

The European Commission has decided not to extend the EU anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures on solar panels imported from China, Malaysia and Taiwan. Anti-dumping measures have been in place since 2013. In March 2017, the Commission extended the measures for an exceptionally short period of 18 months.

Based on the current market situation, as well as the EU’s new renewable energy targets, the Commission has rejected the manufacturer’s request for an expiry review investigation.
