Forwarding Manager Jaana Ryhänen receives WCO Certificate of Merit

The World Customs Organisation (WCO) has granted Varova’s Forwarding Manager Jaana Ryhänen a Certificate of Merit. She received the certificate from Antti Hartikainen, Director General, at the Finnish Customs premises on the International Customs Day, Friday, 26 January 2018.

The Finnish Customs has granted the Certificate of Merit based on the following reasons:

“Varova/Jaana Ryhänen has for many years engaged in an active cooperation with the Finnish Customs in developing the processes related to a well-functioning and reliable flow of goods.

Varova has an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status since 2010, and is a member of the Finnish Customs partnership program Tulli+ since 2015.

The company has developed its own customs clearance processes for example based on observations made within the AEO in-house auditing. The company has worked together with the customers and the Finnish Customs to improve the customs procedures in a best possible manner.

Jaana Ryhänen is also an active member of the Finnish Customs freight forwarding industry working group.”

We warmly congratulate Jaana for this merit.
