Varova has appointed Mikko Vihanto, MBA, BBA, (42) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of 1 March 2018. The previous Managing Director and owner Pekka Laitinen will continue as the Chairman of the Board.
Mikko Vihanto has worked in various positions at Varova for nearly 14 years, which gives a solid basis for leadership in a family-owned business. He is well familiar with the company’s culture and values and enters the new position with the following thoughts:
