From 1 July 2026, certain products originating in the United States (USA) may qualify for preferential tariff treatment under Regulation (EU) 2026/1455.
The Regulation covers a broad range of U.S.-origin industrial products for which the European Union has reduced or removed customs duties, potentially offering cost savings for importers.
The exact applicability depends on the product’s CN code. The scope includes, for example:
- Industrial raw materials and chemicals
- Plastic raw materials and plastic products
- Machinery and equipment
- Electrical equipment and components
- Aircraft and aviation industry spare parts
- Textiles and furniture
