Negotiations for a collective agreement between AKT, the Finnish Transport Workers’ Union, and the port operators have not yielded results so far. Consequently, AKT has announced that it will start an overtime ban at the ports in Finland starting at 06:00 on Wednesday, 1 February 2023.
The overtime ban affects the transfers and unloading of transport units arriving and departing through the ports, which may cause delays in freight traffic.
