The stevedores’ two-week strike ended on March 1, 2023, after AKT, the Finnish Transport Workers Union, and the port operators reached an agreement.
Work in the ports begins, and the loading, unloading and moving of containers and trailers can begin. However, there will be a backlog in cargo handling and deliveries for some time.
We are pleased that the parties have reached an agreement, and we will do our best to get transports back to normal as soon as possible.
